HOW THEY TRIGGER

Description-triggered, like Claude Code — and every skill automatically becomes a slash command (/skill-name).

RUNNING IT UNATTENDED

Native cron — config.yaml jobs or hermes cron add

Any interval you like, including sub-hourly, but the jobs only fire while Hermes is running — install it as a service (hermes gateway install) and give it a host that stays awake. In exchange it is the only one of the three that can hold your API keys locally.
